Chargers lost the lead late in a 12-3 defeat to Oaks Christian Junior Varsity Lions on Friday. In the bottom of the sixth an error scored three runs for Oaks Christian Junior Varsity Lions.

The Chargers struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Oaks Christian Junior Varsity Lions, giving up 12 runs.

Chargers opened up scoring in the first inning, when Braden Oliver’s sac fly scored one run for Chargers.

Oaks Christian Junior Varsity Lions knotted the game up at three in the bottom of the fifth inning. Joshua Brown drew a walk, scoring one run.

#21 got the start for Oaks Christian Junior Varsity Lions. The fireballer lasted three and a third innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out three.

Thomas Novak was on the hill for Chargers. Novak surrendered four runs on four hits over four innings, striking out ten. Stone Brownell and Nathan Conmy entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one inning and one inning respectively.
