AGOURA BASEBALL FOUNDATION
ABF FUNDRAISERS
The Agoura Baseball Program maintains two baseball fields/facilities, and employs a staff of 6 coaches and consists of 3 teams (Freshman, Junior Varsity, Varsity) who play baseball 11 months a year.
Unfortunately due to public school budget cuts, the school district offers little financial support. The program’s associated costs and funding are managed through a 501c3 nonprofit (Agoura Baseball Foundation). Player fees and fundraising efforts are in place to cover base costs, but capital improvements can only be made when fundraising exceeds targets or through personal donation.
On behalf of Agoura High School Baseball, we would like to thank all of our donors for their generosity. The continued support of individuals, families and businesses makes it possible for our organization to exist and to make the community a great place to live and play baseball!
The Agoura Baseball Foundation hosts only a few fundraisers each year:
Fall fundraiser: Snap!Raise
This is our first fundraiser of the year. Emails and texts are sent to family and friends through the Snap!Raise platform.
This fundraiser is now closed… We raised over $25,000! THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
Christmas Trees
The beloved Christmas Tree fundraiser is back by popular demand! The ABF hosts and coordinates the sale of Wood Mountain Christmas Trees and Wreaths to friends, family, and members of the community. This fundraiser typically takes place Mid-October through Mid-November. Deliveries/pickups typically take place the first weekend in December. Please reach out to your favorite player for details!
Hit-A-Thon
Our final fundraiser of the year is our Hit-A-Thon hosted by 99 pledges. In the Spring, the athletes will reach out to friends and family to collect a per-hit donation. Who will win the HR derby this year?? Join us on the Varsity field to root on your favorite players in this friendly competition that not only helps the program, but also earns one athlete (humble) bragging rights.
Snack Shack
Snack Shack sales are another big fundraising source. We ask that parents work the shack every game and it’s expected that all parents take a few shifts throughout the season. The snack shack is actually the best seat in the house directly behind home plate, and the only air-conditioned one! Players are strictly prohibited from being in the snack shack without adult supervision.
The snack shack is equipped with water, Gatorade, chips, candy, popcorn, and more! We even have a great selection of hats, t-shirts, and sweatshirts which are exclusively sold at the snack shack.
