Chargers Takes the Win Over Valencia Junior Varsity Vikings

Chargers scores more runs than Valencia Junior Varsity Vikings, takes victory on Saturday to the tune of 7-5

Chargers got things moving in the second inning, when Carter Roberts hit a solo homer.

Chargers scored three runs in the fourth inning. Chargers’s offense in the inning came from walks by Ty Starling and JP Cardenas and by Braden Oliver.

Ethan Begin got the win for Chargers. The righty surrendered one run on one hit over three innings, striking out four. Thomas Novak and Nathan Conmy entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Chargers socked one home run on the day. Roberts put one out in the second inning.

Chargers saw the ball well today, racking up ten hits in the game. Stone Brownell, Roberts, Starling, and Tiger Ibanez all had multiple hits for Chargers. Ibanez, Starling, Roberts, and Brownell each collected two hits to lead Chargers.

Valencia Junior Varsity Vikings stole seven bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Will Rossi led the way with two.
