Chargers Overcomes Moorpark In Face Of Early 4-Run Inning
Chargers managed through a push by Moorpark in the fifth inning where Chargers coughed up four runs, but Chargers still won 10-7 on Thursday. #46, #7, and #43 each had RBIs in the frame.
Both pitching staffs had their hands full, frequently dealing with runners on base. Chargers collected seven hits and Moorpark had six.
Chargers got on the board in the first inning. Cory Baer drew a walk, scoring one run.
Chargers scored four runs in the fourth inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by JP Cardenas and a sac fly by Dom Longo.
Stone Bronell was on the hill for Chargers. The righty went two innings, allowing one run on one hit and striking out one.
