Don Fehmel

Don Fehmel

Don grew up in Long Island, New York and graduated from Hillsdale College, where he played football and started the lacrosse team. After college, he coached the St. Anthony Lacrosse team for three years and won 2 state championships.

He moved to California in 1992 to raise his family of three boys with his wife Beth. He coached his younger two sons’ youth baseball teams and began to give private lessons in baseball, which he continues to do. He was one of the founding coaches to start the Conejo Valley Lacrosse League and later coached Newbury Park Lacrosse for one year and won the state championship.

Both Brody and Bryce played baseball at Agoura and were both on the team that won the Marmonte League for the first time. They both went on to play college baseball at Trinity University and Oregon State University where their respective teams won the DIII and DI College World Series. Bryce was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in 2018 and after leaving pro baseball coached at Agoura. When Bryce moved on, he recommended his father take the Freshman Coach position.
