Agoura Freshman Chargers Stymied by Newbury Park Panthers Frosh , Lose 7-1

Tuesday was a long day for Agoura Freshman Chargers, falling to Newbury Park Panthers Frosh 7-1.

Newbury Park Panthers Frosh got things moving in the second inning, when Gabe Maldonado singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Agoura Freshman Chargers knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the third inning, when Garrett Leininger lined out, driving in a run.

Newbury Park Panthers Frosh pulled away for good with one run in the fourth inning. In the fourth Jack Klein doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Newbury Park Panthers Frosh scored three runs in the seventh inning. Roman Carrera, Trevor Kroetz, and Diego Kimball all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Johnny Boone toed the rubber for Newbury Park Panthers Frosh . The righty allowed three hits and one run over four innings, striking out three.
